A Lancet study published this year said that one in seven Indians were affected by some kind of mental disorder. A report released by the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences in April stated that any pre-existing psychiatric conditions like psychosis, mood disorders, anxiety spectrum disorders, sleep disorders, among others can exacerbate during the quarantine.
