Rakesh Dubbudu is a well-known transparency & Open Data Campaigner in India and also the founder of ‘FACTLY’, one of the well-known ‘Public Information/Data Journalism’ initiatives in India. He has been working on Right to Information (RTI) related issues for the last 13 years. Rakesh played a significant role in the launch of the 'Open Data Policy' by the Government of Telangana, the newest state in India. He is also visiting faculty at various administrative training institutes of the state & central governments.
Rakesh brings immense experience in dealing with Government Data, Policy and various government related information. He has numerous awards & fellowships to his credit like the South & Central Asia Region Legislative Fellows Program of the US State Department, RTI Fellowship of Government of India, Distinguished Alumni award from his alma mater NIT Warangal
